Dynamic Demand
Smart Grid Technology
Optimum Energy Efficiency
Carbon reduction and energy efficiency are at the heart of all our products and services; we strive to deliver the most efficient air conditioning products on the market.
As a result of this commitment, an innovative technology called ‘Dynamic Demand’ has been developed in partnership with leading UK Green Energy Company RLtec.
What is Dynamic Demand?
‘Dynamic Demand’ technology is engrained in our precision air conditioning and chiller products, creating a division of intuitive devices that respond fast to changes on the National Grid.
This is achieved by reducing demand when there is a supply shortage or increasing demand when there is excess supply. All this is done with zero impact upon cooling performance and reliability. ‘Dynamic Demand’ technology does not alter the tight operating parameters critical within a data centre.
Benefits of ‘Dynamic Demand’
- Contribute to the performance of the UK electricity grid
- Meet corporate social responsibility (CSR) targets by reducing carbon emissions
- Potential entitlement to a carbon trust grant
- Cutting-edge controls technology
- Serial interface card enabling remote monitoring via branded web page
Airedale Controls Integrated Systems (ACIS)
‘Dynamic Demand’ application opens up numerous upgrades through Airedale’s air conditioning controls innovative building management solution ACIS. These include:
- Increased system efficiency
- Range of alarm reporting options for peace of mind
- Access to controls experts via our remote monitoringbureau
- Complete system integration and control
- Detailed power analysis and reporting
Testimonial
“This technology gives us a win-win situation, saving carbon emissions for “UK PLC” by displacing power demand at times of peak loading on the National Grid thus avoiding the need to call in carbon intensive back-up power generation mechanisms”
- Bob Crooks, Defra Green IT Lead
